Welcome to a new innovation in youth fitness!

Programming:

The USA Foundation provides development and start up
funding to community based enterprises that provide
the facilities and services needed to sustain athletic
activities in the urban areas of Chicago. USA athletic
programs engage pioneering approaches that change
attitudes about the way the system should operate and
accountability for success.

Mission:

The mission of the Urban School Athletic Foundation is
to restore a community environment in the urban areas
of Chicago that recognizes the critical importance of
athletics as a learning experience. Athletics can
often teach lessons that are as important as academics
in preparing a young person to succeed in life.
Unfortunately, public funding mechanisms in this
country have significantly eliminated athletics as a
learning tool in many urban areas. The USA Foundation
of Chicago has established a community based business
model that can accomplish this mission without
dependency on public funding for start up and long
term survival.

Advocacy:

USAF also engages in activism that advance the public
awareness and commitment to the importance of athletic
opportunities for young people in urban areas of
Chicago. Athletic activities for young people in these
communities will continue to decline without
determined efforts to secure recognition of the
importance of this problem and the need to tackle it.
